God has no concern about you having things.  Just don’t let those things have you.  Those things have the world because their whole focus is on it.  Our focus is on God.

LR: I want you to know that never in ten million years would I have ever picked that car, mostly, no, completely, because of the price tag-never in a million years.  And when we drove to that car dealership, we were actually looking at the dealership next to it.

And we walked all around and we ended up meandering into that dealership by accident.  Ha, ha, ha.  And Richard said, “Of all the cars on this entire place that we’ve all looked through, which one is your heart’s desire?”  And I pointed to that car.  I didn’t know how much it was.  I had no idea.  No one had told me how much anything was because there was nobody there.  It was just us.  But we had looked at the dealership, the used car dealership next door to it.

And when we drove away, Cheryl said something very interesting to me.  She said, “Lindsay, do you realize that your miracle was only a few steps away from you, but in your human flesh you didn’t even know it?”

But the day I got out of my human flesh and I turned it over to the Father, is when He went exceedingly abundantly far above anything I could ever ask or think.  But I have to tell you one thing, and I want to hold you all responsible for this one thing, when I began to sow my seed, the person I was sowing to, her mother is sitting in the audience right over there.  I said, “I have one string attached to this.  You call your mother every time I hand you this seed and you tell her to get on her face before God that I am sowing seed into what God wants me to have.”   And she did.

But last night when I got this car, the Lord spoke in my heart and He said, “Do not le the sun go down on your seed.  Give away your other car.”  Now there was still a lot of value left in it.  Yes, it needed some repair.  Honestly, it does.  And we said we would pay for the repair.  But there’s still a lot of value left in the car.  And Richard and I sat right over there behind that curtain and said, “On the count of three, you say the name the Lord has placed in your heart to give this car to.”  We counted to three, and we said the same name.”

And when the program was over, the host asked me to pray and I prayed.  And then after I prayed, he asked her to pray.  And instead of praying, she began to prophesy over me.  And she said to me, “Richard Roberts, God has heard the cry of your heart.”  And in my mind I’m saying, “How do you know the cry of my heart?”  She said, “God has heard your cry for a healing ministry.”

Tears burst out of my eyes, and I sat there in utter amazement as she read my history.  And there’s no way she could have known anything about what I had been praying and believing for.

She said, “Your father has had a laying-on-of-hands ministry.  Your ministry will be different.  It will be a word- of-knowledge ministry.  I didn’t even know what a word-of- knowledge ministry was.  I didn’t understand the operation of the gifts of the Spirit, as the apostle Paul taught in I Corinthians 12.  I had no idea.

She said, “You’ll speak, and people will be healed.”  She said, “You will be on television far more than your father has ever been on television.”  And she said, “You won’t have to face the disappointment that your father has faced.”  And he referred to it in his message last night, when there were so many people and he couldn’t lay his hands on them.

I remember when he came home from Kenya in 1969 with one to two hundred thousand people a day, having laid hands on at least ten thousand a day.  Everyone was talking about the miracles.  He was talking about the ones he couldn’t touch.  And I saw the hurt in his heart.  When he would run out of his strength, and even when I was a little boy, I would help as we’d carry him to the car and put him to bed for three days because he didn’t know who he was.  I’d seen that.

And this word came to me, “You won’t go through that.”  And I was stunned.  I was in shock.  And when the program was over, I went behind the platform and I said to the woman, “I owe you an apology.”  And she said, “Why?”  I said, “I don’t like you.  And I’m wrong.”  And I said, “I sincerely apologize.  I didn’t think you were for real.  There’s no way you could have known that.”

It was Vicki Jamison-Peterson was who it was.  I had the privilege of performing her wedding to Dr. Carl Peterson some years ago, and Lindsay and Vicki and I are great friends today. And she’s for real, incidentally.  And she’s a trustee of the ICBM.  I think we should give the Lord a handclap.  (Applause)

Father, in the authority … uh huh … sure, I’ll do that. He’s even going to heal an effect of someone who has had spina bifida.  He’s going to heal you tonight.  In the authority of the name of Jesus … Lindsay, honey, come up here and stand next to me.  In the authority of the name of Jesus, I speak to the problem in your back.

Now there’s curvature of the spine that’s leaving right now.  There’s someone who has an S curve like this woman, young woman whose testimony I read earlier.  And it’s like a cool spring … that’s the word the Lord is giving me … it’s like a cool spring going up your back.  Honey, turn around and I’ll show you right where it is.  It’s starting right here in the lower back, and it’s moving up.

And the healing is going up the center of your back.  It’s going to the sides of your back.  It’s going across the back of your shoulder.  It’s going right in the lower part where you’ve had such pain.  There are disks and vertebrae being healed right now.

In the authority of Jesus’ name, I bind the problem in your back.  And in Jesus’ name, I send the word to you.  Now stretch your hands out toward mine just like this.  There’s no healing in my hands, but my hands become a powerful point of contact. That’s what I’m saying on television every night.  The only reason I’m not live tonight is because of this conference.  We chose to play a rerun tonight because of the conference.

But you know what happened a few weeks ago?  We aired a rerun with Jesse Duplantis because Lindsay and I were out of town.  Forty-six people got healed.  Six people got saved, and twelve were baptized in the Holy Spirit.  (Applause)

Stretch your hands out toward mine.  In the authority of the name of Jesus, I send … oh, there it goes right now … I send the word to your back.  Now begin to do with your back what you’ve not been able to do.  God is healing seventy-five people’s backs.  Begin to bend.  Begin to move.  Seventy-five of you, a minimum of seventy-five people, you’re feeling the healing power of God go into your back right now.  Hallelujah!

KENNETH COPELAND: I got healed on it.  The devil attacked my body.  Sorry rat!  And we were headed up here to this conference, and we got in here the first evening and all the trustees were having dinner and everything.  And I wanted to be there.  And we got into our room a little after six o’clock that evening.  And by the time I got in there, I want you to know I was so sick.  And it seemed like to me, it seemed like to me I pushed every button, pulled every lever.  I mean, I read every scripture.  Gloria laid hands on me, and I’m getting no better fast.

So I said, “I’m going to bed and I’m just going to just praise God.”  So we were just laying there, I was just praising God.  And Gloria reached out and flipped that television on, and there’s Richard and Lindsay.  She said, “Oh, let’s watch Richard and Lindsay.”  I said, “Yeah, glory to God, they’re going to be healing somebody here in a minute.”

And you know how the two of them do.  I mean, they’re just all over you by the minute you turn the thing on.  And that’s all they’re doing is just talking about healing.  They’re not talking about anything else.  They’re not doing anything else.  They’re just teaching, preaching and healing just as fast as they can.

Joyce Meyer was on there.  And, you know, Joyce will get on you.  And so, and Gloria and I were just laying there praising God and worshiping God.  And I became almost instantly, just in a few seconds on that broadcast, I became aware of the healing presence of God.  I became aware of it in the room, and Gloria became aware of it.  We were laying there just praising and worshiping God, just praise and worship God.

And the next morning I just got up, just doing fine.  And I’m healed and I’m well, and I want you to know I appreciate you and Jesus taking care of it.

RR: Hallelujah!  (Applause)  I brought some examples of what’s just happened the past, just the past several months.  This is from Martha in Michigan.  “Richard, my 15-year-old daughter, Jessica, suffered with scoliosis for three years.  She had a double curvature in her spine, which made her back look like an S.

One night we were both watching the Hour of Healing, and you gave a word of knowledge about spines being healed.  Jessica placed her hands on your hands on the TV, and the lower curve in her back straightened out.

OR: You remember how much money we had?

ER: Well, I wasn’t going to tell that right yet, but if you want to tell it, go ahead.

OR: Go ahead.

ER: We had $25 in our pocket.  Now we were sure in a good condition to buy a house.  But we had a new car!   God gave us the car.

OR: And we had $300 worth of furniture.

ER: That’s right.  And you know, we were beginning to believe that God is a good God, and that He wants to meet our needs.  And so, I was a little? I don’t know how to say it? unbelieving, I guess at the time.  But Oral went across and he put his head on the steering wheel, and he prayed, and he prayed, and he prayed.  And he said, “God, what am I going to do?  He sold my house.  You told me this is my house.  Now he’s sold it, and I only have $25.  And You’re going to have to work this out.”

So he came back home.  And there was a tent revival going on in Tulsa.  And Oscar said, “Would you like to go to the tent revival with us tonight.”

And we said, “Of course.”  So we went to the tent revival. And before we went, he said, “Now I’ll come a little later. Because the man to whom I’ve sold the house will be here at 8 o’clock to sign the papers.

OR: Six.  Six.

ER: Six?  OK.  We ate? you know when you’re 87, it’s hard to remember every little detail.  But anyway we went on to church?

OR: Speak for yourself, Honey.

ER: We went on to church that night, and Oscar followed us later. But when he got there – it was Steve Pringle.  And he said, “Oh, Oral, I didn’t know you were here.  I want you to preach for me tonight.”  Well, he hadn’t prepared, but he preached.

It was a rainy cold night, and there were about 200 people in a tent that seats 1,000 people.  And the Lord just came down in His power that night.  And it was wonderful.  And Steve said,  ”Would you preach for me?  Will you stay over another night and preach for me.”  And he said, “Yes, I will.”
