And they were so caught up in the here of their life that they were unaware that they were entertaining the presence of angels.
And what did he say? “He is not here. He has gone on to Galilee. There you’ll see him, just as he told you.”
Why do we rehearse the heres of our life? Why? Why do we rehearse those things?
Lindsay was telling the story and walking around earlier with Dr. Margaret Idahosa, talking about our son and him dying in my arms. I want you to know we don’t go to the cemetery. I don’t go and visit the grave. I don’t go and put flowers on the grave. Why? Because he’s not here. He’s there.
And the angel, in essence, was saying, “Why are you looking for the dead here? He’s alive. He’s risen, just like he said he would. There you’ll find him.”
You think about what you’re going through now in your ministry, and you think it’s unbearable. Somebody said something. Somebody did something. Somebody upset your apple cart, and you don’t know if you can take it any longer. And you said, “If I can come to this conference, I’m either going to get help, or I’m going to get out.”
You are just the kind of person that this ministry was raised up for. The ICBM, the International Charismatic Bible Ministries Fellowship Conference was designed for you—just like you are. It was designed for ministers who had been hit and hurt and broken and beaten and left on the side of the road of life. It’s for you.
It’s for those who have been given the left foot of fellowship. It’s for those of you who have been put out or put on, or dragged out or drawn out. It’s a place where without any ties you can come in and join.
