Richard Roberts lives in a household of women, and they ask me for a lot of things. My wife has no trouble asking me for what she wants, and neither do our three daughters. They know that all they have to do is sit by me and say, “Oh, Daddy” in a special way, and they’re pretty confident that I’ll do anything they want me to do.
When we have a loving relationship with our heavenly Father, we have the same privi-lege to come into His presence and call Him Daddy…Abba…Father (Romans 8:15,16). We can be confident that he will listen to us when-ever we ask him for anything in line with his will (I John 5:14 NLT). Richard Roberts believes that it’s God’s delight to grant our requests!
